Nicatur: the most important tourist marketing event in Nicaragua
The first edition of the International Tourism Fair of Nicaragua, Nicatur, will take place on 06th and 07th September at the Olof Palme Convention Center, Managua.
The announcement was made on the morning of June 18th, by the Minister of Tourism, Anasha Campbell, who explained that the aim is to promote and position Nicaragua as an international tourist destination.
It will also be a more important event than the commercial one in Nicaragua and one of the most outstanding fairs in the Central American region, as a meeting point between Nicaraguan and wholesale exhibitors from North America, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
Some 30 journalists from 15 different countries, including bloggers and more than 20 national journalists specialized in tourism, are expected to attend Nicatur 2019.
Minister Campbell recalled that “Nicaragua is a country with exceptional natural wealth and cultural heritage, with an attractive and varied tourist offer; It has the best roads in Central America that allows you to move quickly from a sun and beach destination to a colonial city, to climb a volcano, to know the multiculturalism of our Caribbean, to enjoy the diversity of its gastronomy, tranquility, multi-ethnicity, hospitality and human warmth of its people, which make it unique and original destination. “
The fair will welcome both professionals from the tourism sector and the public in general, who want to know the latest trends in the tourism industry and the destinations offered.
